Our Story
Why Two Women Drivers Started PhuketSafeTaxi
Both Sukumaporn and Pansa are from Phuket and have worked in the local tourism and transport industry for years. They noticed that female travelers and families arriving in Phuket often felt uneasy with street taxis — unpredictable prices and aggressive driving were common complaints.
PhuketSafeTaxi was created to solve exactly that. The drivers are women, the fare is agreed in Thai Baht before the trip, the cars are their own licensed vehicles, and every message is answered by the driver herself — no middlemen.
Today the service covers Phuket Airport (HKT) transfers, hotel pick-ups across the whole island, full-day private driving, and long-distance routes to Khao Lak and Phang Nga Province.
